Wishes for 2024

As the holiday season approaches, I wanted to take a moment to address you on behalf of the Board of the Philippe & Élisabeth Dufour Foundation.
The year 2025 has not been an easy one.
Like many others, we have gone through periods of doubt, obstacles, and at times waiting and uncertainty. Some projects required more time, more energy, and more patience than initially expected. Yet they never lost their meaning.
Cette année a surtout été marquée par des rencontres profondément humaines.

Sincere exchanges, deeply moving testimonies, realities that were sometimes difficult to hear, yet always carried by hope. On the ground, alongside beneficiaries, partners, and local actors, we were reminded just how much every gesture matters, how every form of support has a real and tangible impact.
We have also been deeply touched by the growing trust placed in the Foundation. Many people believe in our approach and have come forward, ready to help, to support, and to commit — each in their own way.

This quiet yet very real solidarity is a tremendous source of motivation for the entire Board.
Despite the challenges, the projects are moving forward.
They are being built with rigor, humility, and determination, faithful to the values that guided the creation of the Foundation: humanity, the transmission of knowledge, respect, and the commitment to act in a sustainable and responsible manner.

At this year’s end, I would first and foremost like to express my gratitude.
Thank you to all those who place their trust in us.
Thank you to our partners, to our supporters, and to all those who believe that sincere commitment can still make a difference, even in a world that is sometimes unsettled.

For 2026, we choose to look to the future with confidence and serenity.
Confidence in the projects underway.
Confidence in the people who carry them forward.
And confidence in our collective ability to continue taking action, together, with heart and responsibility.

On behalf of the Foundation Council, I wish you warm and joyful holiday celebrations with your loved ones, and a 2026 filled with meaning, humanity, and a spirit of solidarity.
